Known as thermoelectric or Seebeck effect to convert heat of a difference in electricity. It creates a Voltage in the presence of a temperature difference between two different metals or semiconductors. A difference of temperatures T1 and T2 in the joints between the metals A and B induce Potential difference V. It is the inverse of Peltier effect.
