Device comprising an electromagnet (magnetic action) and bimetal strip (thermal action) standing in electrical installations in order to protect electrical circuits against overcurrent caused by overload or short circuit. The apparatus is provided with a lever that allows manual power shut-off and reset the device when there has been a disconnect. However, This reset is not possible if the overload or short circuit conditions persist.
