Expansion

Most solids expand when heated and contract when cooled. Is called dilation to changing body dimensions suffers due to the temperature change that is caused in it by any means. Each type of material has its own Coefficient of expansion, i.e., que cambia de volumen de manera diferente por cada Degree que se modifica su temperatura.
The most widely used to calculate the expansion body which undergoes a temperature change is formula:
Lf = a * Li * (Tf – You) + Li
Where Lf is the final length, Li is the initial length, Tf es the temperature final, Ti is the initial temperature and a is the Coefficient of expansion.
