In the case of block type gas heaters, the medium is indirectly heated in a tube coil. The tube coil is cast together with the electrical heating system in an aluminium block, which is protected by a sheathed pipe produced of steel or stainless steel. The tube coil, as a pressure-bearing part, is calculated, manufactured and documented in accordance with the pressure vessel directive, ASME or other regulations. Design, connections, output and dimensions are configured on an individual basis according to requirements. As far as the tube coil is pressure-bearing, the use of this construction is always preferred if it is necessary to withstand high operating pressures (up to 500 bar) and operating temperatures (up to 400 ° C). Also, the block type design is also suitable for the evaporation of liquid gases inside the tube coil with downstream superheating inside a device, and for heating technical gases, process gases, compressed air or liquids.
