Electrical regeneration heaters are used for example in air-separation-plants for drying molecular sieves. During this process, large quantities of air must be heated up to around 250 ° C in a fixed cycle, in order to dry the molecular sieve. In industrial plants, flow heaters with outputs up to multiple megawatts are frequently required for this purpose. Multiple heaters are usually operated in parallel, in order to ensure continuous operation.
