FLOW HEATERS

Electrical flow heaters are used for heating all types of liquids and gases. The medium is heated through a constant heat exchange between the electrical heating elements and the medium. Our know-how lies in the individual and optimum alignment of the heat exchange surface with the operating conditions. Through the calculation and the selected construction it is possible to ensure that the process temperature is attained, without the permissible heating surface temperature or permissible pressure loss being exceeded.
The installation is usually horizontal, although a vertical installation is also possible with the corresponding configuration. Application and operation are possible in industrial and potentially explosive areas classified as zones 1 and 2.
Various different series have been developed for special applications and are planned and produced according to customer specifications. Explosion-proof flow heaters have been specially developed for the requirements of our customers in the chemical, petrochemical and refinery sectors - i.e., for operators for whom explosion protection plays a central role. Because we are already able to reflect back on a lengthy company history today, we possess not only knowledge, but also experience gained in industrial practice; we utilise this in order to constantly improve our flow heaters.
Significant performance features of our flow heaters are their robustness and reliability, which are also reflected for example in the selection of the explosion protection concept. Pressure-tight encapsulation is standard for us. No medium is too aggressive, no temperature and no pressure are too high. Due to the selection of materials available - which range from unalloyed steels and heat-resistant steel alloys right through to high alloyed stainless steels and nickel-based alloys - almost all challenges are surmountable.
