START-UP HEATERS

Start-up heaters are heaters, which are primarily designed only for starting up a chemical or petrochemical plant. Generally, a gas is heated up here in a circulation process and sufficient heat is introduced to the process until exothermic reactions result in the process being self-sustained and the energy introduced by the start-up heater is no longer required. Afterwards, the start-up heater is available at any time without delay in case of process-related malfunctions, after a shut-down or to compensate for heat losses. We construct start-up heaters as flow heaters or supply them as heating inserts for installation in the customer's pipe system. We are able to offer a special solution for the fertiliser industry. Through the use of special heating cables it is possible to manufacture heating inserts with a length of up to 15 m. In this way it is possible to install the heating insert in the reactor directly from above. A separate pressure vessel is, therefore superfluous. Other configurations in terms of output and model are also available.
